My Top 5 most anticipated albums of 2012

Big K.R.I.T. - Live from the Underground
June 5th

With a string of success on the Mixtape curcuit, Krizzle is primed and ready for his debut release. The fact that this man's mixtapes are far better than 95% of the albums made in the industry, shows his progression and potential. Still somewhat of an underground phenom, he'll have to find a way to break a pretty strong single to compete on a commercial level. But with increased airplay from songs like "Money on the Floor" and "Country Shit" he's already proven he can do that.

The Stoned Immaculate

Spitta has produced a brand unlike any other. His sound and choice of production is distinct, his lyrical style and presence is all his own, and he has a large underground cult following. With his new album the Stoned Immaculate Curren$y is set to bring #JetLife into the mainstream. A seemingly bigger budget and trust from the label, has him in a position to make The Stoned Immaculate one of the year #jetsup
Nas - Life is Good

God's Son is set to return later this year, with his 10th studio album Life is Good. The 38 year old, Queens MC has endured throughout the years and remains one of the greatest mc's working today. On recent releases like "Nasty" and "The Don" he proves to remain a lyrical genius and his new single "Daughters" is a masterpiece. With 20 years in the rap game, Nas' message and talents are still unparalleled.

God Forgives I dont

It would be a fool's argument to say Ross isn't at the top of the game right now, however whether or not he can sustain the momentum and create a classic remains to be seen. HIs fifth studio album, God forgives, I don't is will undeniably be one of the biggest records of the year. Maybach Music Group as of late has taken the hip hop genre by storm with Ross leading the onslaught. His Rich Forever Mixtape recieved rave review and left fans with an appetite for more music. This album provides Rick Ross with the rarest of opportunity most MC's wont see. He has become one of the biggest acts in the game and is set to become a commercial icon for the hip hop genre. From his body of work we know one thing God forgives I dont will be dope but will it make Rozay a household name. We'll have to tune in to see.

Dr Dre - Detox
